Happy Half Birthday to Lyla!

Oh yes, and 4th of July too...

Little Lyla started her day by sleeping in until 9:30.

This means we did not attend the parade.

Yes, we are horrible parents, we know.

But we figured we're doomed for at least the next ten years

and this year would be the last year we could get away with not going. 

We did have some fun at a bbq...

popsicles and fun in the sun.

We also took her to the fireworks,

but left shortly after they started because we were all exhausted.
